Get ready for the most intense ride of your life and witness some of the most incredible motorbike stunts you'll ever see, as ten strangers fight to survive in the fast-paced action packed Exit Speed, released on DVD on 18th July 2011 from 2020 Films.
This high-octane road-trip thriller stars Fred Ward (Tremors, The Player), Lea Thompson (Back to the Future Trilogy), Desmond Harrington (We Were Soldiers, Dexter), Alice Greczyn (The Dukes of Hazzard, Shrooms), David Rees Snell (The Shield, The Unit) and Julie Mond (Priest). If you're a fan of tense-action road movies Wrong Turn, Mad Max and The Hitcher, then Exit Speed is definitely one for your collection.
It's Christmas Eve and ten people board a bus travelling across Texas. Marathon runner Maudie McMinn (Thompson), High School soccer coach Jerry (Gregory Jbara) and Corporal Merideth Cole (Mond) are among those heading home to visit family and friends, some in search of new jobs and some just looking for a fresh start. On a deserted section of highway, the bus collides with a nomadic biker wired on crystal meth. But when the passengers go to his aid, he opens fire on the bus and in terrified self-defense they retaliate and kill the crazed gunman.
With the murder being witnessed by the rest of his biker gang, the bus is ambushed and forced off the road. The passengers take refuge in an abandoned wrecking yard and watching in horror, they soon find themselves surrounded by the ferocious pack of knife and gun wielding lunatics.
As their numbers build rapidly, they launch their attacks on the stationed bus and the passengers rely on improvised weapons and sheer guts to mount a defense. Soon with their numbers dwindling, they realise they must do the unthinkable in order to survive.
