Enter the world of egocentric tech titans, eccentric billionaires and inescapable data surveillance in The Audacity - a scathingly satirical new Silicon Valley comedy drama series from multi-award-winning writer, director and producer Jonathan Glatzer (Succession, Bad Sisters, Better Call Saul), who makes his debut as series creator. Season 1 of the critically acclaimed show is set to arrive on Blu-ray and digital 14th December 2026, following its UK premiere on HBO Max.

Set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, The Audacity takes on the warped dreams, outsized egos and ethical lapses of the self-proclaimed inventors of the future. Billy Magnussen (Game Night, Aladdin) leads the ensemble as the audacious data-mining CEO Duncan Park alongside Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover, Due Date), Sarah Goldberg (Barry, Industry) and Lucy Punch (Amandaland, Motherland).

In a society of jaded billionaires, psychiatrist-gurus, bio-hacked tech bros, AI labs and disillusioned teens being optimised in elite private schools, everyone is shady. With Duncan's company on the verge of a buyout, he greedily jumps the gun and leaks the news, hoping to jack up the price. But when his plan backfires epically, he's desperate to regain his reputation as a power player and is morally bankrupt enough to break any law to prove it.

Then he turns to his poorly compensated therapist, Dr. JoAnne Felder (Goldberg), for help. Spending her days massaging the fraught egos of the rest of her billionaire clientele - including the erratic recluse Carl Bardolph (Galifianakis) - the wily psychiatrist is also harbouring a secret agenda.

As Big Tech's influence grows, the overconfident, morally bankrupt minds leading the charge begin to unravel, proving the architects of tomorrow can barely manage their lives today.

The stellar cast includes Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory, Poker Face), Rob Corddry (Childrens Hospital, Hot Tub Time Machine), Meaghan Rath (Hawaii Five-0, Being Human), Paul Adelstein (The Menu, Prison Break), Everett Blunck (The Plague, Griffin in Summer), Thailey Roberge (Reginald the Vampire), Ava Marie Telek (Happy Face) and guest stars Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat, WandaVision).

Hailed as 'a sharp, sweeping take on what makes tech moguls tick' (Variety) The Audacity is a pulse-pounding series that weaves a darkly comedic web of backstabbing, big egos, paranoia, chaos and calamity. With a second season already in the works, have you got The Audacity to take on this 'irresistible' (The Wall Street Journal) series?
