Being Human: Series 3 (2008)
Monday 14th February 2011
Being Human returns with the third series of the brilliant cult drama following three flatmates and their secret double lives - as a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost. Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and Aidan Turner return as George, Annie and Mitchell in the critically-acclaimed BBC Three drama, available on DVD and Blu-ray on 28th March 2011 from 2entertain.
Having fled their lives in Bristol, our supernatural heroes move to Wales to continue their quest to live like normal human beings. But with the net closing in on Mitchell, Annie trapped in purgatory and George and Nina battling domestic challenges, it's going to be more difficult than ever.
Werewolf George is shocked to discover that his father has died, but not as shocked as when he meets the ghost of George Senior. Meanwhile our heroes are faced with a teenage vampire on the rampage but will they be able to control his bloodlust before it's too late? Things also get a whole lot worse for our flatmates when erstwhile nemesis Herrick turns up in the local hospital. But is he megalomaniac vampire or defenceless victim? His life hangs in the balance whilst the housemates try to decide.
In the powerful climax to the series, Nina's fate hangs in the balance whilst Annie battles for her soul and Herrick pits George against Mitchell.
With an impressive array of guest-stars, including Lacey Turner (Eastenders); Robson Green (Wire In The Blood); Michael Socha (This Is England '86); and Paul Kaye (It's All Gone Pete Tong) series three is definitely back with a bite!
