Spitting Image: Series 7 (2009)

Network DVD will release Spitting Image - The Complete Seventh Series on 17th August 2009.

Broadcast on ITV from 1988, no target was safe as the show lifted satire to a whole new level for over a decade. Voice artists include Chris Barrie, Steve Coogan, Jon Glover, Steve Nallon, Enn Reitel, Kate Robbins and Jessica Martin. A milestone in television comedy, Spitting Image lifted satire to a new level for over a decade through the 1980s and '90s. BAFTA-nominated many times, Spitting Image won a Bronze medal at the Montreux TV festival in 1984, firmly establishing its success.

No target was safe from the series' gunsights: politicians of all persuasions, Thatcher, the Pope and even the Royal Family could find themselves up for a ribbing on any given programme. This complete seventh series showcases Thatcher going increasingly tonto, Kate Adie's kitchen, Fergie's parenting skills and the horrors of Christmas television.

This set features, amongst others, the talents of Chris Barrie, Steve Coogan, Hugh Dennis, Harry Enfield, Jon Glover, Steve Nallon, Jan Ravens and Kate Robbins.
