Starring Nick Helm as the eponymous uncle, the first series of the BBC comedy Uncle is released on DVD by BBC Worldwide on 16th March 2015.
Andy (Helm) is a dissolute out of work musician who forges an unlikely alliance with his neurotic 12-year-old nephew Errol (Elliot Speller-Gillott) after being emotionally blackmailed into looking after him by his chaotic sister Sam -- all on the day Andy was planning to kill himself.
Not a natural with kids or responsibility, he tries to keep his new charge out of trouble while knee deep in it himself.
With a little help from his nephew, Andy continues to try to win back Gwen, much to the displeasure of her cross-dressing father Val (Con O'Neill), who also runs a local club.
