Christopher Nolan's spectacular adaptation of Homer's legendary epic is heading to UK physical media this November, with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment confirming an extensive selection of special features, multiple 4K Ultra HD editions and exclusive material for collectors.

Set in the aftermath of the Trojan War, The Odyssey follows Odysseus (Matt Damon), King of Ithaca, as he attempts to return to his homeland after years of conflict. But what should be a triumphant homecoming becomes an extraordinary journey across treacherous seas and unfamiliar lands.

Separated from his family and confronted by seemingly impossible obstacles, Odysseus must rely on his intelligence, determination and resourcefulness to survive encounters with mythical creatures, powerful adversaries and forces far beyond human understanding.

Meanwhile, his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) await his return, facing challenges of their own as the years continue to pass.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker behind Oppenheimer, Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy, the film brings Homer's ancient Greek epic to the screen on an extraordinary scale. The film also features an extraordinary international cast, including Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya and Charlize Theron.

An unrivalled cinematic event, The Odyssey will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD 18th November 2026 by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
