Synopsis

A long time ago when ice still covered the land, three brothers live in a tiny village. Kenai the youngest brother is about to receive his totem - a symbol from the great spirits to guide him through life. When he is presented with a carved bear - the symbol of love - he's deeply disappointed.

Shortly afterwards his brother is lost in battle with a grizzly bear. Ignoring the village teachings of brotherhood, Kenai tracks it down and kills it in bitter revenge. At that moment, the great spirits descend on Kenai and transform him into the very creature he despises - forcing him to see the world through the eyes of another.

Kenai is told that he must travel to 'the mountain where light touches the earth'. In his quest to regain his human form, he enlists the help of a cute but pesky bear cub called Koda and encounters two hilarious but dim-witted moose, Rutt and Tuke.

Over the course of his exciting journey with Koda, Kenai is forced to question everything he knows. But will he learn to truly see the world from the eyes of another and discover the true meaning of brotherhood, love or loyalty? Will he ever return to his human life again?
