Comedians David Mitchell and Robert Webb return to DVD on 4th October 2010 with the Fremantle Home Entertainment release of That Mitchell And Webb Look - Series 4, a two-disc DVD set featuring all six complete episodes of the series plus a host of extras including bonus sketches and outtakes not featured in the TV broadcasts.
This fourth outing for the BAFTA Award winning sketch show lets loose a bountiful batch of new ideas and off-the-wall sketches starring plenty of familiar fan-favourite characters from previous series plus some not-so-familiar but equally hilarious newcomers to the world of Mitchell and Webb.
Among the ever-popular regulars are: accident prone Hennimore, whose chaotic adventures shamelessly parody classic sitcoms of the 1970s; jaded, alcoholic sports pundits Ted and Peter presenting Late Night Dog Poker; Peter, Sheila and Unknown Male 282, the unfortunate contestants in the post-apocalyptic TV quiz show The Quiz Broadcast ("Remain indoors!"); and the Arguing Couple ("Up yours!").
Proving that comedy can also be educational, Mitchell and Web fans with a curious bent can learn the correct but somewhat confusing way to talk to Caesar, discover the conspiracy behind the conspiracy behind the fake-fake moon landings and find out how the Ku Klux Klan got their name and uniform.
Budget supermarket chains come under fire in a series of parody commercials advertising the bargains on sale at Didldidi, where customers can purchase bargain priced delights such as 12 litre bottles of Value Water and packets of delicious Bacon Octopus Shapes Covered With Glitter. And, looking for a follow-up hit to 'HMS Pinafore', Gilbert and Sullivan dabble with musical versions of 'Star Trek' and 'Dirty Harry' before finally hitting pay-dirt with a 'Zulu'-inspired comic opera featuring the memorable refrain, 'Hail the Queen of Bongo Bongo Laaaaaand!'
Special Features include: Bonus sketches; Outtakes; Extended Outtakes; 'Three Square Metres Of Snow'; 'Shooting The Cast'; 'Hello And Welcome'.
