Lionsgate is returning to Jigsaw's deadly games this November with a new Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD SteelBook release of Darren Lynn Bousman's Saw II.

Picking up after the events of the original film, Saw II sees the police investigation into the notorious Jigsaw Killer intensify when another gruesome crime scene bearing all the hallmarks of his elaborate games is discovered. Detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) joins the investigation and, following a raid on Jigsaw's hideout, the police seemingly achieve the impossible by capturing the elusive killer.

But apprehending John Kramer (Tobin Bell) proves to be considerably easier than stopping him.

As Matthews interrogates their surprisingly cooperative prisoner, he discovers that Jigsaw's latest game is already well underway. Eight people have been imprisoned together inside a seemingly abandoned house, where a deadly nerve agent is gradually poisoning the air. Their only hope of survival lies in uncovering antidotes hidden throughout the building - each protected by the kind of brutal traps and cruel choices for which Jigsaw has become infamous.

Among those trapped inside is Matthews' teenage son Daniel (Erik Knudsen), turning what initially appeared to be another police investigation into an intensely personal race against time. While Amanda Young (Shawnee Smith), one of the few known survivors of a previous Jigsaw game, attempts to guide the group through the horrors awaiting them, Matthews becomes increasingly desperate to force Kramer into revealing where the victims are being held.

However, as Jigsaw repeatedly reminds his captor, his games have rules - and understanding those rules may be the only way Matthews can save his son.

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, Saw II expanded the claustrophobic premise of James Wan's original into a larger and considerably more elaborate game, while bringing Tobin Bell's John Kramer to the forefront of the series and further developing the philosophy behind his increasingly ingenious tests.

The new Limited Edition SteelBook brings the 2005 horror sequel to 4K Ultra HD alongside an extensive collection of supplementary material. Newly produced features include New Blood: Darren Lynn Bousman Looks Back, Appreciating Life: Tobin Bell on SAW II and Establishing Shot with Darren Lynn Bousman.

The disc also includes three audio commentaries featuring combinations of Bousman, Donnie Wahlberg, Beverley Mitchell, production designer David Hackl, editor Kevin Greutert, James Wan and Leigh Whannell, alongside The Scott Tibbs Documentary, The Story Behind the Story, Greg Hoffman In Memoriam, Jigsaw's Game, Bits and Pieces: The Props of SAW II, a storyboard and conceptual art gallery and the theatrical trailer.

Saw II is released on Limit4ed Edition 4K UHD SteelBook 9th November 2026 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
