
Laura Linney is back in her Golden Globe® winning role in The Big C : The Complete Third Season available on DVD 16th September 2013 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. In Season Three of the hit comedy series about living fearlessly, Linney returns as Cathy Jamison, a suburban wife and mother whose life is forever changed when she's diagnosed with stage-four melanoma. With her cancer now in remission, Cathy considers making drastic life changes, including assuming a secret identity and adopting a baby.
The all-star cast includes Oliver Platt (TV's Huff), Gabriel Basso (The Kings of Summer), John Benjamin Hickey (Pitch Perfect), Academy Award® nominee Gabourey Sidibe (Best Actress, Precious, 2009), as well as special guest stars Alan Alda (TV's M*A*S*H), Victor Garber (TV's Alias), Allison Janney (TV's The West Wing), and Academy Award® winner Susan Sarandon (Best Actress, Dead Man Walking, 1995).

In Season Three, Golden Globe® winner Laura Linney (2011, Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical, The Big C) returns as Cathy Jamison, a cancer survivor who learns to fully live life for the first time. This season finds Cathy's cancer in remission, and Cathy considering drastic life changes, such as assuming a secret identity and adopting a baby. Cathy's husband, Paul (Oliver Platt), survives his heart attack and becomes a motivational speaker with the help of a sketchy mentor (Susan Sarandon). Andrea (Gabourey Sidibe) embraces her African heritage, while Cathy's son, Adam (Gabriel Basso), finds religion.
