It's a new term and Alfie Wickers (Jack Whitehall) is back as the self-styled maverick of Abbey Grove in the second series of the hilarious comedy Bad Education, which comes to DVD on 29th September 2014 courtesy of BBC Worldwide. Both series one and two will also be available to own in a bumper box-set on the same date.
In the second series, Alfie returns to attempt to teach his class something - anything - that requires zero effort. Though Alfie's heart's always in the right place, his judgement is often clouded by the fact he is, in reality, a bigger kid than any of the kids he teaches.
Hysterical highlights from the series include a swimming gala, a drugs awareness day that ends in utter humiliation for Alfie, Fraser (Matthew Horne) staging Abbey Grove's own version of Take Me Out and Joe being shot in the bum.
Mathew Horne, Michelle Gomez and Sarah Solemani all reprise their roles, and series two also sees some brilliant new cast additions: Harry Enfield (Harry & Paul), Samantha Spiro (Grandma's House), Greg McHugh (Fresh Meat), Frances Barber (Silk) and Jake Canuso (Benidorm) all making guest appearances.
