From HBO comes a gripping and suspenseful series based on Stephen King's best-selling novel of the same name.

The Outsider follows a seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of an 11-year old boy, whose body is found mutilated in the Georgia woods. Eyewitnesses and physical evidence all point to popular high school teacher Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman).

But police detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) is baffled by the emergence of contradictory evidence and, in an attempt to explain the unexplainable, brings in an unorthodox private investigator with uncanny abilities.

A binge-worthy detective story and tense psychological thriller, The Outsider meticulously reveals a spine-chilling series of twists as an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case.

The Outsider is released on DVD and Blu-ray 27th July 2020 from Warner Home Video.
