Spinning off from Man About the House, George & Mildred features erstwhile landlords George and Mildred Roper 'moving up' into suburbia at 46 Peacock Crescent, Hampton Wick.

Mildred (Yootha Joyce - Nearest And Dearest), is in her element, playing up to her posh neighbours, but George (Brian Murphy - Last Of The Summer Wine) is mightily unimpressed with the whole thing and is determined to ignore as much of it as he can, though he has his hands full with both the neighbours and Mildred's awful relatives...

This illustrious show was created and written by Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke (Full House) and co-stars Norman Eshley (Randall And Hopkirk Deceased) and Sheila Fearn (The Likely Lads) as snobbish neighbours Jeffery and Ann Fourmile.

The six disc set of George And Mildred: The Complete Series is released on DVD 20th May 2024 from Old Gold Media and comprises all five complete series.
