Network proudly presents And Mother Makes Three - The Complete Second Series, starring Wendy Craig, out on 6th October 2008. In this classic TV sitcom, BAFTA-winning comedienne Wendy Craig (Butterflies, Not in Front of the Children) plays widow Sally Harrison, the flustered and harassed mother trying her best to raise two very cheeky sons with the sometimes help of Auntie (Valerie Lush). Sally also works as a vet's assistant, where her dottiness constantly tests the patience of her long-suffering boss, Mr. Campbell (George Selway).

And Mother Makes Three - The Complete Second Series, sees Auntie and the boys welcoming the prospect of a man about the house again. Sally however, isn't so sure... The misadventures of Sally and her sons proved heart-warming and endearing to TV audiences. It became one of the top ITV shows of the early 1970s and its success spawned a spin-off show And Mother Makes Five.

  • A Hard Day Out Sally decides that Simon and Peter should have an 'interesting' day out during the school holidays. However, making the following morning's headlines with their visit to the House of Commons is more than even Sally is prepared for

  • The Matchmakers The household routine is disrupted when an old flame of Sally's suddenly reappears. Auntie and the boys are in favour of having a man about the house again, but Sally feels that any potential suitor has to offer more than the ability to mend toy tanks...

  • Growing Pains Simon stages a minor teenage rebellion by announcing that he wants to leave school to become the family breadwinner, and Sally launches a full-scale rescue operation.

  • But How Can I Tell Them? Sally's boss, Mr. Campbell, invites the family to stay at his sister's country home. Their visit, which starts with Peter falling in the river and ends in a disturbed night for the entire household, leaves Miss Campbell seriously doubting her sanity.

  • Once a Year Day Auntie reminds Sally about her approaching birthday, and wants to give the boys 'just a tiny hint' as well. But Sally firmly believes it's the thought, not the gift, that counts.

  • All Play and No Work Sally joins the ranks of the unemployed, and finds that 'a sort of shorthand', a certificate for an essay on volcanoes, and night classes in fruit bottling are not ideal qualifications for getting -- and keeping -- a job.
