The fact that he is married to a woman he can't remember meeting, and that his brother is dead, are tremendous shocks to him and he struggles to catch up with his new reality.

A meeting with his wife and a strange encounter with another, unidentified woman leaves Simon in a drastically confused mental state that worries his medical team. Yet there is a further, even more shocking development for Simon to deal with. When he awakens again, this time he finds himself in a different bed, a different ward, albeit the same hospital, but two years previous to his last awakening. He is unmarried and his brother has just had his accident.

Simon begins to understand that he is effectively time travelling. He can use this ability to piece together the chilling puzzle of his fragmented life, but can he do anything to change the shocking truth?
