Monster Hunter (2020)

Starring Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil franchise, The Fifth Element), written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil franchise) and based on the global video game series phenomenon by Capcom, Monster Hunter is available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on 20th September 2021 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Also starring Tony Jaa (Fast & Furious 7, xXx: Return of Xander Cage), Tip "T.I." Harris (Ant-Man), Meagan Good (The Intruder), Diego Boneta (Terminator: Dark Fate), Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road), Jin Au-Yeung (2 Fast, 2 Furious) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Monster Hunter takes the characters into a new world, an unknown environment home to enormous and terrifying monsters. Grappled by danger, they must find a way to escape with help from a mysterious hunter.

Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (T.I. Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters.

In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.
