Johnny Vegas, returns as Moz, the ultimate slacker, in the fifth series of the multi-award winning comedy drama Ideal, released on DVD from 2entertain on 19th July 2010. With his girlfriend Jenny quite literally in a coma, Moz decides to turn over a new leaf and abandon his career as a weed dealer.

In fact, he's even promising to make the ultimate sacrifice and get a proper job! But despite his best efforts, Moz soon finds himself dragged into a criminal underworld of shootings and human trafficking and then the unthinkable happens: Moz is busted by the police.

Out on bail and facing a long term sentence, Moz has to decide whether to stay in Salford or go on the run... Featuring romance, horror and even some very bizarre song and dance routines, this series is the most action packed yet, taking viewers into riotous new territory.

Series 5 features a fantastic cast including Johnny Vegas (Benidorm, Bleak House), Sinead Matthews (Vera Drake), Nicola Reynolds (Sex Lives of the Potato Men) and David Sant (Columbus: The Lost Voyage), plus a guest appearance by Alan Yentob as himself!

Written by Graham Duff, who also co-stars as serial shagger Brian, Ideal Series 5 is a BBC Comedy North and Baby Cow Manchester Production, with Henry Normal (Gavin and Stacey, Nighty Night) as the Executive Producer.
