Four Time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore (The Hours, Far From Heaven, Boogie Nights) and Pierce Brosnan (The Thomas Crown Affair, Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day) combine their considerable talents in the romantic adventure comedy Laws of Attraction. A witty and hilarious take on the age old ‘battle of the sexes', the title will be released by Entertainment in Video on DVD 27th September 2004.

Directed by Peter Howitt (Sliding Doors), Laws of Attraction also boasts a brilliant supporting cast headed by Parker Posey (A Mighty Wind, Scream 3), Michael Sheen (Underworld), Nora Dunn (Bruce Almighty) and Frances Fisher (Titanic).

High-powered New York divorce attorneys Daniel Rafferty (Pierce Brosnan) and Audrey Woods (Julianne Moore) have seen love gone wrong in all its worst-case scenarios - so how bad could their own chances be?

At the top of their respective games, Audrey and Daniel are a classic study in opposites. She practices law strictly by the book; he always manages to win by the seat of his pants. But soon they're pitted against each other on opposite sides of a nasty public divorce between fashion designer Serena (Parker Posey) and her wild rocker husband, Thorne Jamison (Michael Sheen).

The case eventually requires Audrey and Daniel to travel to Ireland to investigate claims over a castle owned by the couple. There the two lawyers, who have slowly been developing a mutual attraction that neither wants to acknowledge, find themselves thrown together at a romantic country festival.

After a night of wild celebrating, they wake up the next morning as man and wife. Now they have to return to New York to carry on with their surprising new situation and the ongoing court case.
