With an all-star cast featuring Hollywood heart-throb Jude Law (The Talented Mr. Ripley, Alfie) as ace pilot Joe 'Sky Captain' Sullivan, and Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow (Shakespeare in Love, Sylvia) as intrepid reporter Polly Perkins, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is an old-fashioned story of international espionage that unfolds after 1930's New York is blitzed by an army of bizarre, flying robots. Following the revelation that the world's most famous scientists are being kidnapped, Polly Perkins seeks the help of Sky Captain to foil the plans of an evil megalomaniac in his bid to takeover the world.

Shot entirely in front of blue screens and employing state-of-the-art visual affects, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow captures the imagination and takes the audience back in time to an era of dashing heroes and glamorous women. The gothic landscapes of pre-war New York provide a dazzling backdrop against which the cast brilliantly evokes the style and drama of the comic-book era which the film is based upon.

Law and Paltrow sparkle as the heroic duo battling against the onset of world terror. The superb supporting cast, including Oscar winner Angelina Jolie (Girl Interrupted, Tomb Raider), ensure that the plot races along from one breathtaking adventure to another.
