Jeanne (Florence Foresti) is a French voice artist who dubs an American actress (Nikki Deloach: Love and Other Drugs) in a hit TV series. But one day, the American actress blows a fuse and announces she is retiring from acting for good.

As a result, Jeanne's life comes crashing down. She realises there is only one thing she can do: go to Los Angeles to find the American star and convince her to head back on set.

She initially runs into trouble, but meets Farres (Jamel Debbouze: Days of Glory, Angela), who opens doors for her onto the wonderful and sometimes wacky world of Hollywood.
