Mac Sinclair (Tim Reid) is a music mogul and classy lawyer who has it all. That all looks set to change when he meets CeCe Miller (Tamara Curry), a sexy homegirl with plenty of attitude who just happens to be the niece of Mac's trusted housekeeper. CeCe is a girl torn between her tough upbringing in the Projects and the better life she knows she deserves. After a run-in with the police, CeCe is put on lockdown at Mac's waterfront estate by a vengeful judge with an old score to settle. With Cece and Mac under one roof it is only a matter of time before Mac's "Old School" style clashes with CeCe's "Nu Skool" flava.

For Real is an entertaining mixture of urban romance and comedy played out against the beatz of one of the hottest producers in L.A., Curtis Dowd, who created the songs on the soundtrack specifically for the film.

For Real will be released on DVD by MIA on 12th July 2004.
