Save the Last Dance 2 begins where the original story left off. Sara (Izabella Miko) has finally achieved her dream of going to Juilliard (an NYC dance conservatory) and is one step closer to becoming an elegant prima ballerina. But, her commitment and endurance are tested by a stern teacher (Jacqueline Bisset) and she finds herself torn between her talent for classical dance and her undeniable passion for the urban hip-hop scene - and a smart and sexy musician named Miles (Columbus Short).
