From Len Wiseman, director of the Underworld saga and Neal H. Moritz, the producer of The Fast and the Furious series, comes the visionary, new action thriller Total Recall, available on Blu-ray and DVD with UltraViolet on 26th December 2012 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Colin Farrell (Horrible Bosses), Kate Beckinsale (Underworld series) and Jessica Biel (The A-Team) star in this action-packed thrill ride. The film co-stars three-time Emmy Award® winner Bryan Cranston (TV's Breaking Bad) and Golden Globe® winner Bill Nighy (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1) and is based on a short story by Philip K. Dick, whose work inspired sci-fi classics such as Blade Runner and Minority Report.

The Blu-ray comes with two discs:

  • Disc one is a Blu-ray that includes the theatrical feature film and an all-new Extended Director's Cut, which includes 20 minutes of footage not shown in cinemas, featuring new storylines and an alternate ending, as well as commentary by director Len Wiseman. Disc one also comes with "Total Recall Insight Mode", allowing viewers to watch the film while engaging with scene-specific behind-the-scenes insights
  • Disc two is a Blu-ray with a gag reel and multiple featurettes. "Science Fiction vs. Science Fact" provides a closer look at the futuristic moments in the film through the lens of a technology expert. "Designing the Fall" gives a behind-the-scenes look at set production. Blu-ray exclusive featurettes include "Stepping into Recall", diving into pre-visualization sequences of the intense fight and chase scenes and seven "Total Action" featurettes, breaking down key action sequences and stunts.

Also included in the Blu-Ray is a voucher code to redeem a playable game demo of "God of War: Ascension", the newest installment of the multi-million selling God of War® franchise from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (Sce Wws) Santa Monica Studio, available only for the PlayStation®3 (PS3) computer entertainment system. This demo is available exclusively to the Total Recall Blu-ray for a limited time, prior to its March 2013 release.

The DVD comes with one disc containing

  • The theatrical feature film, a gag reel and the "Science Fiction vs. Science Fact" and "Designing the Fall" featurettes.

Prepare for non-stop excitement and pulse-pounding thrills in this explosive action thriller. Colin Farrell stars as Douglas Quaid, a factory worker who visits Rekall, a revolutionary company that can turn his superspy fantasies into real memories. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, the line between fantasy and reality blurs as Quaid becomes a man on the run and the fate of his world hangs in the balance. Co-starring Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Bryan Cranston, Total Recall is bursting with mind-blowing action sequences and spectacular visual effects, the ultimate high-energy thrill-ride!

Total Recall screenplay by Kurt Wimmer (Salt, Law Abiding Citizen) and Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard) from a screen story by Ronald Shusett & Dan O'Bannon and Jon Povill and Kurt Wimmer. The Screenplay is based on the short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick. It was produced by Neal H. Moritz (21 Jump Street) and Toby Jaffe (Prom Night). Executive producers are Ric Kidney (Salt) and Len Wiseman.
