At Last Smith & Jones : Volume One

The long-awaited DVD release of the very best material from all four series of Alas Smith & Jones, including Granny News, In At The Deep End, the Businessmen Babies and, of course, the cream of 'Head to Head' routines is released on 12th October 2009 by Revelation Films Limited.

Emerging from the phenomenal success of Not The Nine O'Clock News, Smith amp; Jones forged a double act that was to dominate 80s and 90s comedy. Alas Smith & Jones combined superb performances with inspired writing and razor-sharp observation, launching a whole generation of comedy writers and performers.

Includes sketches by Paul Merton, Clive Anderson, Rory McGrath, Guy Jenkins and Andy Hamilton, not to mention early appearances from Brenda Blethyn, Tony Robinson and Stephen Fry.
