Being Human, BBC Three's award-winning and critically acclaimed drama series, written and created by Toby Whithouse, produced by Touchpaper Television, part of Zodiak Media, returns for a fourth series. Following the dramatic finale of series three, the housemates return to their home in Barry Island to face their greatest struggle for survival and acceptance yet.
Back with more horror, mayhem and mugs of tea, the spellbinding Being Human Series 4 is available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray on 23rd April 2012. Published by BBC Worldwide, licensed from Zodiak Rights, the DVD and series download comes complete with a whole host of exclusive extras including deleted scenes, trailers, cast interviews and behind-the-scenes features.
With the death of their housemate Mitchell and a vulnerable newborn baby to look after, Annie (Lenora Crichlow), George (Russell Tovey) and their new friend Tom (Michael Socha) are forced to adjust to new challenges that will change life at Honolulu Heights. These domestic issues must be overcome whilst fighting their ruthless adversaries: the vampires. As these demons infiltrate and dominate society as part of their plot for the vicious Old Ones to conquer the world, it seems no-one can be trusted and that impending doom is encircling.
The arrival of new housemate Hal (Damien Molony) further complicates their lives as his cold, stand-offish manner, let alone the fact he is a 500 year-old vampire, brings him to loggerheads with werewolf Tom. Will Tom and Hal overcome their differences to pursue their shared quest for a 'normal' life, or will their instinctive hatred of each other take over? The usual intensity of suspense can be expected in the new series of Being Human, but new realms of the supernatural are revealed, and to be feared.
Guests such as Alex Jennings (The Queen), Mark Gatiss (Sherlock), Mark Williams (Harry Potter) and Amanda Abbington (Man Stroke Woman) provide stunning appearances and many favourite characters also return, but these arrivals will prove to both help and hinder our heroes.
