Peaky Blinders: Series 3 (2016)

Britain's best drama is back and raising the bar even higher. Series three of the multi-award-winning BBC Two gangster epic Peaky Blinders, released on DVD and Blu-ray on 13th June 2016, courtesy of BBC Worldwide, sees Tommy Shelby pulled into the glamorous and dangerous world of international intrigue in 1920s Britain, putting his entire organisation and family at risk.

Approached by a secret organisation on his own wedding day, Tommy finds himself at the centre of an international arms deal that could change the course of history. In a sphere where no one reveals their true intentions until the game is up, Tommy has to contend with a White Russian exile whose brutality knows no bounds, a priest with a killer dog, a beautiful Duchess even more manipulative than him, and a powerful entity at the heart of the British establishment that will stop at nothing to accomplish its reactionary aims. The pressures they inflict upon Tommy are carefully chosen and exquisitely unpleasant.

This year the cast, which includes Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Joe Cole, Sophie Rundle, Finn Cole, Natasha O'Keeffe, Harry Kirton, Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Jordan Bolger are joined by Tom Hardy, who reprises his role of Alfie Solomons, and new character Father Hughes, played by Paddy Considine.
