Sunday 6th March 2016
Hailed as one of the year's best new series as premiered on Amazon Prime, the hit drama from Universal Cable Productions, Mr. Robot has viewers and critics buzzing with excitement. Earning a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the series has been repeatedly applauded for being "clever and strong" (IGN UK).
Mr. Robot: Season 1 is coming to Blu-ray and DVD 11th April 2016 from Universal Pictures (UK) and fans of this highly addictive series can feel secure knowing they can watch all 10 season one episodes on disc without the fear of losing their collections to hard drive crashes, cloud outages or identity theft.
Cyber security engineer by day and vigilante hacker by night, Elliot (Rami Malek, The Pacific) finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group (Christian Slater, Nymphomaniac) recruits him to destroy the firm he's paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world.
Mr. Robot also stars Carly Chaikin (Suburgatory), Portia Doubleday (Her) and Martin Wallström (Simple Simon).
Mr. Robot won over audiences at last year's South By Southwest Festival in March, winning the coveted audience award in the Episodics category. The series was also named an official selection of the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival in April 2015 and nominated for IFP's Gotham Awards new 'Breakthrough Series' category in October 2015.
