They may be furry, they may be feathered, they may be feral, but scratch their hairy surfaces and they're just a group of messed-up little creatures struggling with life, love, dreams and what happens when you discover you're only the latest in a long line of pedigree pets.

The jaw-droppingly funny, multi-award winning adult puppet comedy is back for a new series, so stand by for another helping of wonderfully wild action, hilarious songs and refreshingly different celebrity cameos with the urban misfits - Nelson, Destiny, Marion, Kali and Vince - when Mongrels - Series 2 is released on DVD from 2entertain on 8th October 2012.

Let's meet the cast: Nelson, Your typical everyday, spice-rack-owning, lactose-intolerant, broadsheet-reading, metrosexual, urban fox. New to London, this small town boy is planning to make the absolute best of his new territory in the Big City. Destiny, a sexy, pretentious 'It Bitch' wannabe Afghan hound, Marion, a wide-eyed, slow-brained street cat with no balls! Kali, the sarcastic pigeon and Vince, a wild, unashamed fox who's everything Nelson isn't.

A Series 1 and 2 boxset will be available on the same release date.
