In the dark days of the 16th century a series of brutal and gruesome murders shocks a small village. The victims are all high ranking noblemen who have had mysterious letters carved into their chests, but before Ruy (Christopher Lambert) can start his investigation the butchered bodies all mysteriously disappear.

As the body count rises so does Ruy's determination to catch the killer, but things take a mysterious turn and Ruy soon realises he could be the next victim.
