Released as a Special Edition 2-disc DVD for the first time in the UK, and spread over an action-packed, epic 4 hours and 40 minutes, Around the World in 80 Days features James Bond star Pierce Brosnan as the charismatic adventurer Phileas Fogg. Brosnan heads an incredible star-studded cast that also includes Monty Python star Eric Idle as Fogg's loyal manservant Passepartout, Christopher Lee (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy; Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones), Robert Wagner (Austin Powers), Jill St. John (Diamonds Are Forever), Roddy McDowall (Planet Of The Apes), Lee Remick (The Omen), Patrick McNee (The Avengers), Jack Klugman (Quincy; The Odd Couple), and Oscar-winning actors Peter Ustinov (Spartacus and the Hercule Poirot series of films) and John Mills (Ryan's Daughter).

English gentleman Phileas Fogg makes a wager with a group of wealthy acquaintances that he can circle the globe in just 80 days and immediately sets off with just a carpetbag full of cash and the resourceful Frenchman Passepartout in tow. The pair's journey becomes a thrilling, rollercoaster adventure as they visit some of the world's most exotic locations by land, sea and air, racing against the clock determined to make their deadline. Along the way, they meet a variety of fascinating historical characters, including actress Sarah Bernhardt, scientist Louis Pasteur, financier Cornelius Vanderbilt and Wild West outlaw Jesse James.
