Multiple Oscar-winner Sir Michael Caine stars in the first leading role of his career as Harry Palmer, a stubbornly insolent sergeant working for the Ministry of Defence who is transferred to an elite counterintelligence unit. Palmer is less than thrilled when he finds out he is replacing a murdered agent but he has no choice other than to take the job when his boss effectively blackmails him with knowledge of his previous indiscretions in Berlin.

Featuring a quintessential performance from double-Oscar winner Sir Michael Caine and an iconic score from the legendary John Barry, this stylised and compelling Cold War spy movie won multiple awards on its theatrical release including three BAFTAs.

With a High Definition transfer made from original film elements in its as-exhibited theatrical aspect ratio, The Ipcress File is released on Blu-ray 3rd February 2025 from Spirit Entertainment.
