Last year, the Academy Award winning Godzilla Minus One stomped across the world to become a global sensation, and now cinema's most famous lizard has its eyes set on your home!

Anime Limited and Toho Co. Ltd. are excited to reveal that the highly anticipated home video release of Godzilla Minus One will make the perfect holiday gift when it releases on 4K UHD + Blu-ray Deluxe Edition, 4K UHD + Blu-ray Steelbook, Blu-ray and DVD on 2nd December 2024.

The Deluxe Edition release also includes a comprehensive 68-page booklet featuring a message by director Takashi Yamazaki, an introduction to the film, a host of promotional artwork, and a wealth of interviews with key staff and other information, including the colour-grading of Godzilla Minus One / Minus Color, and the operation to bring the film to global success.

The on-disc bonus features include a Making Of feature, VFX featurette, a special behind-the-scenes program, a whole host of event footage, and a collection of trailers for the film.

For the home cinema aficionados, the 4K UHD Blu-ray features a Dolby Vision HDR Presentation, with audio in Dolby Atmos for the Japanese audio (with English subtitles). Both the Blu-ray edition and Godzilla Minus One / Minus Color also support Dolby Atmos Japanese audio with English subtitles, and 5.1 English audio.

Finally, for those who want to experience this moment of cinematic history without all the bells and whistles, the film will also be available on Standard Edition Blu-ray and DVD.

The Standard Edition releases will both include a single disc featuring the film only, in Japanese with English subtitles, and English-language audio options. The Blu-ray version will feature Dolby Atmos for the Japanese audio and 5.1 audio for the English dub, while the DVD will include 5.1 for both audio languages.

The latest film in Toho's classic series, Godzilla Minus One was crafted to be the most terrifying incarnation of the character yet, returning the franchise to its post-war roots with a powerful and poignant story about a Japan gripped by the helplessness of having already lost everything before this new, monstrous threat emerges.

The film earned critical acclaim and broke multiple UK & Irish box office records on release, including the largest opening day for a Japanese film (live-action and animated) in over 23 years. The film became a sensation across the world, culminating in Godzilla Minus One winning Best Visual Effects at the 96th Academy Awards, becoming the first non-English language film to win the award.
