A British movie with an all-star cast Eddie The Eagle follows Eddie (Egerton) and his determination to realise a childhood dream of becoming an Olympian. Despite a series of knock backs he becomes Great Britain's first Olympic ski-jumper, reluctantly aided by former champ Bronson Peary (Jackman) as his coach. Suddenly an unlikely national hero Eddie is unwavering in his quest to reach the 1988 Calgary Winter Games whether he wins or loses...

Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) stars as Eddie and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) as coach Peary. The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Sunshine on Leith) and produced by Matthew Vaughn (Stardust) and also stars Tim McInnerny (Notting Hill), Keith Allen (The Others), Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can) and Jim Broadbent (The Lady in the Van).
