My Brother Is An Only Child (2007)

From the writers of The Best Of Youth, My Brother Is An Only Child is the critically acclaimed and politically charged film co-written and directed by Daniele Luchetti which will be released by Revolver Entertainment on 11th August 2008. Based on the Italian best-selling novel Il Fasciocomunista, My Brother Is An Only Child follows the lives of two feuding brothers set against a backdrop of political upheaval in 60s and 70s Italy.

Accio (Elio Germano - Romanzo Criminale, Respiro) is a trouble-maker. Impulsive and explosive he is always a cause of despair to his parents. His brother, Manrico (Riccardo Scamarcio - Eden is West, Romanzo Criminale, The Best of Youth) is handsome, charismatic, loved by all, but just as dangerous. The two brothers have opposite political beliefs but fall in love with the same woman and are drawn apart.
