He had a way with the world's most beautiful, most seductive, most glamorous women... Bluebeard - starring Richard Burton (Villain) - is making its worldwide UHD debut on 28th September 2026 as part of StudioCanal's Cult Classics range, with a beautiful new 4K restoration, new extras, and a 12 page booklet, with fantastic new artwork by Thomas Hodge (aka The Dude Designs). The film is also released on Blu-ray and Digital.

From legendary producers Alexander and Iiya Sakind (Superman), directed by Edward Dmytryk (Shalako), and inspired by real events, Bluebeard features an astonishing title performance from Burton as a charming, seductive Austrian aristocrat with a lust for women... and murder! The outstanding supporting cast includes Raquel Welch (One Million Years B.C.), Nathalie Delon (When Eight Bells Toll), Virni Lisi (La Reine Margot), Marilù Tolo (Themroc), Karin Schubert (Black Emanuelle), Agostina Belli (Scent of a Woman), Sybil Danning (The Four Musketeers), as the ladykiller's ill-fated victims... and Joey Heatherton (Where Love Has Gone) as the final girl!

With a terrific score from Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West), and lavishly filmed by Gábor Pogány (Valdez is Coming), Bluebeard is a wildly entertaining, wickedly sexy X-rated comedy thriller treat. Kitsch, camp and curiously unseen for years, it is now available for the first time in all its gruesome glory in 4K.
