Fresh from the city and tipped for big things, Jay might be this town's new copper, but he's not new to this town... His estranged father lives here, as does the woman destined to change his life forever, Mary (Tuuli Narkle - All My Friends Are Racist).

Immediately thrown into the town's seedy underbelly, Jay's investigations quickly pile up. Working with tough local cop Emma James (Judy Davis - Ratched), he soon finds himself unpeeling the hidden layers of the town's dark history that will send shockwaves through the community...

In Series Two, Jay teams up with local officer Fran Davis (Jada Alberts - Wentworth) to solve the case of a decapitated body found in the mangroves, but it soon becomes clear he must expose the web of corruption plaguing the town...
