
After the massive success of their indie hit My Big Fat Greek Wedding in 2002, Nia Vardalos and John Corbett re-unite for the hilarious rom com I Hate Valentine's Day which is released on rental and retail DVD and Blu-ray by Entertainment In Video on 1st February 2010.
The pair head-up the cast for this, their latest outing, along with Judah Friedlander (The Wrestler; Along Came Polly; Zoolander), Zoe Kazan (Revolutionary Road; Me & Orson Welles) and Rachel Dratch (Down With Love; Martin and Orloff).
I Hate Valentine's Day is written and directed by Nia Vardalos who also directed 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' and received an Oscar nomination for the film's screenplay.
Genevieve (Nia Vardalos) is the owner of Brooklyn florist shop Roses For Romance and has a unique take on the dating game. She lives by a strict five date rule so that she doesn't get dumped and never gets hurt. However, she hadn't reckoned on the arrival in her life of Greg (John Corbett). He's good looking, funny and is the owner of the newest restaurant in town but he can't follow any rules when it comes to dating.
He doesn't know how male-female relationships are supposed to work so its not surprising he's never been married However, before they know it, both are falling for each other. Trying to stick to Genevieve's five-date mandate suddenly starts to look unworkable and will Greg finally get the hang of how to make a relationship work?
