In Anderson's first animated movie he employs visually impressive handmade stop-motion techniques to tell the story along with a colourful supporting voice cast to bring his eccentric characters to life including Bill Murray (Lost in Translation) as Badger, Jason Schwartzman (Darjeeling Limited) as Mr Fox's nephew - Ash, and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Rat.
