Details

In this comedic thriller, a trio of crooks relentlessly pursue a young American, played by Audrey Hepburn in gorgeous Givenchy, through Paris in an attempt to recover the fortune her dead husband stole from them.

The only person she can trust is Peter Joshua (Cary Grant) a suave, mysterious stranger. But as the number of dead bodies increases, so do Peter's aliases, leaving her uncertain as to whether or not she can trust him.

Director Stanley Donen goes deliciously dark for Charade, a glittering emblem of 1960s style and macabre wit.

With a new 4K digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack, Charade is released on dual-format Blu-ray and 4K UHD 22nd June 2026 from Spirit Entertainment as part of the Criterion Collection.
