Synopsis

The mischievous animals take over the Zoo on a nightly basis when the humans go home and King of the Zoo, the great lion Samson (Kiefer Sutherland) leads the fun and games! When Samson's son Ryan (Greg Cipes) is mistakenly shipped to the wilds of the African jungle, Samson must embark on a dangerous mission to rescue him.

He has a little help from his crazy friends when he is joined by Benny (James Belushi) the fast-talking, street-wise squirrel, Bridget (Janeane Garofalo) the upper-class giraffe, Larry (Richard Kind) the dim-witted anaconda and Nigel (Eddie Izzard) the hilarious and dry humoured koala. One thing's for sure - they are all game for an adventure!

Along the way, the group befriend a couple of crocodiles in the sewage system of New York and are helped on their way by a pair of wacky secret agent chameleons in the jungle. When they are confronted by an outrageous tribe of wicked wildebeests who want to turn the tables on the food chain and become the hunters not the prey, the realities of the jungle set in and Samson's secret is revealed. Samson and the gang will need to pull out all the stops to rescue Ryan and get back to safety!
