Based on the famed video game of the same name, and adapted by game creator Neil Druckman and Chernobyl's Craig Mazin, The Last Of Us story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed by an infectious fungus called cordyceps.

In 2003, a parasitic fungal infection ravages the planet, turning humans into violent creatures known as the Infected. Twenty years later, hardened survivor Joel (Pedro Pascal) is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of an oppressive quarantine zone in hopes of delivering her to the rebel Fireflies. But what should be a quick job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they traverse a desolate U.S. - while depending on each other's unique skills for survival.

Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.

The Last Of Us: Season 2 is released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD 22nd September 2025 from Warner Home Video.
