With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) begins a new chapter of his life, exchanging ranching for a badge as he joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals operating across Montana. Drawing upon both his instincts as a cowboy and the formidable skills acquired during his years as a Navy SEAL, Kayce finds himself uniquely equipped for a job that frequently places him on the front line of some of the region's most dangerous conflicts.

Working alongside experienced Marshal Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), ATF agent Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and former reservation police officer Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means), Kayce tackles cases ranging from violent fugitives and criminal organisations to disputes that threaten the communities scattered across Montana's vast landscape.

But leaving Yellowstone behind doesn't mean leaving his old life completely. Kayce remains devoted to his son Tate (Brecken Merrill), while his connections to Broken Rock bring him back into the lives of Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) and Tribal Chairman Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham). As professional investigations increasingly collide with personal loyalties, Kayce and his new colleagues must balance their duty to protect others with the considerable psychological toll of the work.

Expanding Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone universe, Marshals combines the contemporary Western atmosphere of its predecessor with a crime drama centred on Kayce Dutton as he searches for a new purpose beyond the ranch.
