
The comedy superstar spectacular Channel 4's Comedy Gala 2012 Live at the O2 will be released on DVD from Universal Pictures (UK) on 5th November 2012. Released in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), it features the whole event in its entirety when over 25 of the nation's favourite comedians and TV presenters took to the stage to perform at this inaugural exclusive event. The DVD also includes all the bits they didn't show on TV!
The comedy extravaganza at the O2 Arena took place on 11th May 2012 in front of 15,000 comedy fans and was watched by a further 2.5 million viewers when broadcast on Channel 4. Now all comedy fans can recapture this brilliant night of laughs at the biggest live stand up show in the UK comedy calendar for a very special price, whilst helping to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
For the third year running, a world class collection of stars supported GOSH at the Gala and the DVD is jam packed full of stellar performances from a spectacular line up of today's top comedy and TV stars including: Alan Carr, Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Jonathan Ross, Keith Lemon, Micky Flanagan, Sean Lock, Kevin Bridges, Jo Brand, Jack Whitehall, Jack Dee, Jon Richardson, Seann Walsh, Eddie Izzard, Jon Richardson, Noel Fielding, Morgana Robinson, Jimeoin, Ray Winstone, Reginald D Hunter, Lee Nelson, Josh Widdicombe and Paul Chowdhry with a very special guest appearance by Jessie J.
