Panic is rising in Mexico City as the city is becoming overrun by organised crime, and kidnappings are out of control. With personal insurance premiums rising due to the increasing abductions, wealthy citizens are forced to hire bodyguards to protect themselves and their families.

John Creasy (Washington, Training Day) is an ex-CIA operative and assassin who has lost faith in humanity and is set on a path to self-destruction. Things begin to change for Creasy when an ex-colleague and friend, Rayburn (Walken, Pulp Fiction) introduces him to wealthy businessman Samuel (Marc Anthony, Bringing Out The Dead) and his wife Lisa Ramos (Mitchell, Phone Booth) to protect their nine-year-old daughter Pita (Fanning, Uptown Girls). Slowly Pita breaks down Creasy's defences, and a friendship grows between them as she gives him reason to believe in people again.

When Pita is suddenly snatched from Creasy's watch, her family is devastated. With Creasy's new lease of life ripped away from him once again, he promises Pita's mother that he will take revenge on anyone profiting from the kidnapping. As he starts to tear away at the underworld's infrastructure, he takes apart all involved and exposes the ugly truth that the city is run by a corrupt and sophisticated organisation which he must destroy.

Directed by acclaimed director Tony Scott (True Romance, Enemy of the State), Man On Fire is guaranteed to take you on a heart-stopping rollercoaster ride of revenge and betrayal.
