From master director Sergio Leone and often credited as the first ever "Spaghetti Western" A Fistful Of Dollars is available for the first time as a Double Disc Special Edition DVD. Fully restored and upgraded to 5.1 surround sound and with over 3 hours of extra material it is out to buy from 18th April 2005 from MGM Home Entertainment Limited.

Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood stars in his trademark role of "The Man With No Name" in this first installment of the Sergio Leone trilogy. A mysterious gunman (Eastwood) has just arrived in San Miguel, a grim, dusty border town where two rival bands of smugglers are terrorizing the impoverished citizens. A master of the "quick draw", the stranger soon receives offers of employment from each gang.

But his loyalty cannot be bought: he accepts both jobs... and sets in motion a plan to destroy both groups of criminals, pitting one against the other in a series of brilliantly orchestrated set-ups, showdowns and deadly confrontations. In the end, only the ghost town's bartender, the coffin-maker and the bell ringer remain, as "The Man With No Name" rides off into the sunset with his booty: aptly, a fistful of dollars.
