In Death in Holy Orders Dalgliesh (Bertie Carvel, Doctor Foster) travels to a remote seminary where a body has been found gruesomely murdered. Cover Her Face sees Dalgliesh investigate a murder in the home of wealthy family with connections to the British government.

Finally, Dalgliesh is sent on an urgent mission in Devices and Desires to investigate a terrorist plot against a nuclear power station and is soon drawn into a complex and highly-charged hunt for a serial killer.
