Famous pirate's daughter Morgan (Geena Davis) is on a quest for riches - she needs to get the remaining two parts of a map from her evil uncles, in order to find her dead father's hidden treasure. Enlisting the help of a convicted thief (Matthew Modine), she straps on her cutlasses and takes to the high seas on a tempestuous journey - but villainous uncle Captain Dawg (Frank Langella) is in hot pursuit.

Finnish director Renny Harlin is responsible for Hollywood blockbusters Cliffhanger, Deep Blue Sea and Die Hard 2. Geena Davis won a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award® for The Accidental Tourist and was nominated for an Academy Award® for Thelma and Louise. Matthew Modine won an Emmy for And The Band Played On, and a Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in Stranger Things.
