Steve Carell, Hollywood's leading funnyman stars in the hilarious comedy Dan In Real Life that's smart, sophisticated and packed with charm. Icon Home Entertainment releases the film to buy and rent on DVD on 9th June 2008, perfect timing as a gift for Father's Day on 15th June.

Advice columnist and Widow Dan Burns (Carell) is an expert on relationships but somehow struggles to succeed as a brother, a son and a single parent to three precocious daughters. Dan is a would-be perfect Dad, if only he followed his own advice.

Family mayhem ensues at a weekend get-together in the country and things become even more complicated when Dan finds out that the woman he met and fell for earlier in the day turns out to be his brother's new girlfriend. Cue an acutely embarrassing weekend as the pair try to hide their true feelings for each other.

The film is written and directed by Academy Award© nominee Pete Hedges (About a Boy, What's Eating Gilbert Grape). Carell (Little Miss Sunshine, The 40 Year Old Virgin) is joined by a brilliant all-star supporting cast, including Juliette Binoche (The English Patient), Dane Cook (Good Luck Chuck), Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada) John Mahoney (Frasier) and Dianne Wiest (Practical Magic), for a heartfelt, fun-filled comedy that's laugh-out-loud-funny.
