This year's kick-ass high school slasher movie is finally coming to DVD. The bloody black comedy Tormented carves its way onto the shelves on 28th September 2009 from Pathe Productions Ltd. Featuring a sexy cast including Alex Pettyfer and faces from TV-hit show Skins, Tormented is a blend of ‘Skins and Friday the 13th and will leave you fired up and pumped.
Starring a young and buff cast, Tormented features knock-out performances from Alex Pettyfer (Stormbreaker), April Pearson (Skins), Larissa Wilson (Skins), Calvin Dean (The Duchess) and Bill Nighy's daughter Mary Nighy (Spooks). The film also features Geoff Bell (The Business, RocknRolla) as the school's dreaded games teacher.
Teenage years are supposedly the best of your life...but that's not the case for Darren Mullet! The overweight, asthmatic teenager was ignored by his parents, ridiculed by his teachers and became a constant target for bullying by the school's most popular kids.
Trapped in a cycle of mental torture and abuse, (Dean) Darren felt he had no choice but to end it all. No one at the school gave his death a second thought, until the in-crowd started to receive some very threatening text messages from Mullet's mobile phoneÂ… are his tormentors about to become the tormented?
Tormented's DVD extras include an invision commentary with the film's sexy young cast, as well as director Jon Wright. Viewers can also get behind the scenes with ‘Tormented: Deafened, Dismembered and Decapitated' a featurette that uncovers the secrets behind the bloody special FX and eye-popping make-up.
