Discover what happens when ordinary people gain superhuman powers as Chronicle unleashes on Blu-ray and DVD on 28th May 2012 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. And only on high-definition Blu-ray, uncover the Extended Edition complete with new, never-before-seen footage that will allow viewers to discover more of the story than was revealed in cinemas.
Chronicle marks Josh Trank's feature directorial debut and stars up-and-coming actors Dane DeHann (Andrew), Alex Russell (Matt) and Michael B. Jordan (Steve) as three ordinary high school friends obsessed with chronicling their lives until they stumble upon something beyond their - or anyone's - understanding.
Witness this mind-bending "chronicle" of great power gone awry as Andrew, Matt and Steve make the extraordinary discovery of their amazing abilities. They can move objects with their minds, crush cars at will and even fly. But as their strengths grow, so do their darker sides. When harmless pranks give way to more dangerous experiences, their lives spin recklessly out of control leading to an explosive, high-flying climax that will leave you breathless.
In addition to delivering the highest possible picture and audio presentation the Chronicle Extended Edition Blu-ray exclusively offers both the theatrical version and the extended cut - with all new footage not seen in cinemas. Special features include an additional deleted scene of the most revealing footage you've never seen; pre-viz material that is the actual concept footage of the film's most exciting sequences; and camera tests of pre-production test scenes using different actors from those cast in the film.
